Funding Deadlines

The client had a time-sensitive purchase as the owners of the company would be traveling internationally. In addition, the project stalled because the vendor required full payment to release the equipment. In order to keep the project moving forward, Regents was able to renegotiate terms with the vendor to ship without payment and get the documents signed in time.

Bank Covenants

Declined by multiple sources due to having exceeded leverage limits and other covenants, the client reached out to Regents.

Regents secured funding by reimbursing previous equipment purchases and compartmentalizing deals into smaller transactions. Regents batched vendor invoices, issuing purchase orders working on behalf of the client, which resulted in rapid funding and reduced exposure for the client.

Performance Ratios

Improving ROA and ROE performance ratios was critical to the successful refinancing of the client’s two previously funded contracts. Regent’s provided lower lease rates and more flexible terms for the client, enabling them to further secure an additional $1.2MM for expansion plans in the Atlantic Coast region.

Building again on that success, the client funded a 3-year term for software licenses with Regents effectively avoiding a straight purchase up-front cash outlay, which improved liquidity ratios and preserved cash for future projects with higher ROI potential.
